Description We're searching for an experienced Plant Manager (P&L Site Leader) who brings a successful Management track record in the auto parts manufacturing industry. We'll want to see a history of accomplishments highlighted by such successes as: 1) championing and leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives, 2) applying exceptional team leadership & employee development talents, 3) developing & deploying systematic, structured, data-driven problem solving tools. Our mid-sized client is a well-respected manufacturer of Tier One & Two auto parts and assemblies in a small town in SW Ontario. It proudly employs a high-seniority, loyal workforce that will benefit from Plant Manager leadership that blends new ideas with traditional paradigms. Our ideal candidate is an active leader, engaging and motivating his/her team daily in the pursuit of excellence, to not settle for status quo or "the way we've always done it" paradigms. Deep and current knowledge of challenges facing auto parts manufacturing is an essential selection criteria. Technical or Engineering strengths will be especially valuable assets, shortening the learning curve to understanding the wide range of production technologies under roof.
