Description We have partnered with a highly successful and stable designer and manufacturer of Engineered Industrial Products. Due to the continued growth of this center of excellence, they are adding the talents of an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. As a key contributor in the department, the Design Engineer will design several complex drawings for customer special orders and provide design changes based on modifications using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and PDM software. The ideal candidate is from an automotive or industrial design background, and able to manage projects from cradle to grave, being a liaison between application engineers, manufacturing, and purchasing. An understanding of machining and welding practices and processes, along with knowledge of materials or metallurgy, will highlight candidacy.
