Key Account Sales Manager - Life Sciences

Description This division of a European parent company acknowledged as its industry leader has spent ten years building partnerships with the top medical device manufacturers in North America. It will now hire a Key Account Manager to maintain and grow the 'beachhead' it has established, broadening into other product families of its large corporate customers and developing Sales campaigns to penetrate the other players in key market segments. Our ideal candidate has established a successful track record selling components or sub-systems to medical device manufacturers and skillfully navigates the requisite structured, methodical product approval process. The candidate we're searching for already appreciates the long Sales cycle of this industry and isn't frustrated by the lack of instant gratification. Working in partnership with Independent Sales Agents in the USA to prospect new customers, the Key Account Manager will personally inherit and manage Key (House) Accounts primarily in Illinois, California, and Nebraska, USA. The ability and willingness to travel freely to the USA is, therefore, a requirement of this role.
