Description We're searching for an intermediate Manufacturing Engineer who brings Surface Mount Technology knowledge from 3 to 5 years of experiences in electronics assembly operations. This is a great opportunity to support a stable company experiencing growth and adding new SMT to its shop floor. Now is a perfect time to objectively review the plant layout, process map the operation, and recommend changes that offer improved throughput. Working closely with the in-house Product Engineering team, the Manufacturing Engineer will infuse a Design For Manufacture attitude that improves NPI with effective Work Instructions, SOPs, assembly manuals, and test procedures. This is by definition a hands-on role providing the opportunity to be deeply involved with all departments and where your contributions will be recognized and applauded. Our ideal candidate holds an Engineering Degree or Diploma and displays excellent communications skills and an independent, self-motivated style of work. Any experiences with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement techniques that can add value to our client will highlight candidacy.
